Karl founded the agency in 1985 after working in the financial services industry and as a producer for a major property and casualty insurer. He earned Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees at Bridgewater State College and spent many years in public education. He and his wife, Sandra, reside locally in Plymouth and are enthusiastic supporters of education and the arts in the community.
